In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Dad and I would sing in church with our guitars, and I would often take the high harmony. Tell us why you chose this song. “This Too Shall Pass” The pedal-steel solo here by the great Jonny Lam is one of my favorite moments from my whole first record. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Before my Dad (Dr. Rick Holm) passed away, the Holm Family Singers went on a DIY tour of the country, driving out to the east coast together in a grey Prius with a rooftop bag strapped on top.
