About Louise
A former member of Eternal, south-east London-raised Louise balanced being both the girl next door and an FHM pinup to become one of the most successful British female pop artists of the '90s. Her first two solo albums -- 1996's Naked and 1997's The Woman in Me -- went Top Five in the U.K. A 1997 cover of the Average White Band's 1980 hit "Let's Go Round Again," became her biggest-selling single, reaching sales of 250,000. Next, Louise co-wrote most of her third LP, 2000's Elbow Beach. Then, following the 2003 number five hit, "Pandora's Box," she put her music career on ice to focus on family life, magazine publishing and TV presenting. Louise returned in 2014 with Heavy Love which saw her work with the likes of Clean Bandit and RAYE. After a further hiatus, Confessions was issued on her own Lil Lou label in 2025.
