Majo Aguilar

Majo Aguilar is yet another member of the Aguilar dynasty, a force in Mexican show business since the days of her grandparents, iconic singers and actors Antonio Aguilar and Flor Silvestre. Majo's debut EP, Tributo, featuring her versions of classics from their grandparents' repertoire, appeared in 2017. After signing with Universal Music in 2019, Majo expanded her horizons by tackling more contemporary genres such as Latin pop and cumbia, but also kept recording traditional material. In fact, her first full-length, 2021's Mi Herencia, Mi Sangre, was a full-blown ranchera set. Its 2022 follow-up, the Latin Grammy-nominated Se Canta Con El Corazón, featured some of her own compositions. Majo further developed her own artistic personality on Mariachi y Tequila (2023) and Mariachi Mío (2025).
