Guaraná

Pop/rock band from Spain, Guaraná was formed in 1996. Mostly influenced by traditional Latin rhythms, Jamaican reggae, and electric funk, singer/guitarist Juan Ramón Arnaiz, bassist Vicente Miras, drummer Paquito Cherro, percussionist Cuco Chelín, and guitarist David Navarro made their debut with the release of El Efecto Guaraná, produced by Gonzalo Benavides. They followed it with a tour around Madrid's club scene. ~ Drago Bonacich
