In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In elementary school, my friend and I played Nirvana’s Unplugged on tape, set up his toys as the audience, and played broom guitars. We called our band “Amerija”—like “America,” with a cool twist. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Berliner Philharmoniker, Herbert von Karajan, Schoenberg: Verklärte Nacht, Op. 4; Pelléas und Mélisande, Op. 5 Radiohead, In Rainbows מאיר אריאל, שירי חג ומועד ונופל (Remastered) Schoenberg’s Verklärte Nacht is the most wondrous piece of music I know. Meir Ariel shows me the depth songwriting can reach, and Radiohead is the pinnacle of writing, performance, and production.
