About Josh Harris

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Founding member of The Untouchables. Now producing roots reggae with Big Feet Records. I make music that connects generations — honest, groove-driven, and rooted in the ska and reggae traditions that shaped me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Desmond Dekker, King of Ska: The Indispensable Desmond Dekker The Beatles, Rubber Soul The Untouchables, Wild Child I was a member of The Untouchables and wrote nearly half the songs on this classic record. Desmond Dekker turned me into a ska-reggae music lover and the Beatles is how it all began for me. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Joker's Wild” Wonderful Life captures the joy of reggae. I wrote & recorded it in Kauai w/ Marty Dread, Horseman, Jallanzo producer Prince Fatty, blending island vibes with roots reggae. It’s a celebration of the legends who inspired that keeps this music alive. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing Glastonbury w/ The Untouchables, we planned a bit of mischief—rolled onstage tanned, in sunglasses and Hawaiian shirts California cut-offs. The muddy UK crowd loved it and hurled clumps at us in pure approval. We felt at home. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? ’ve checked a lot of boxes, but I’d love to see one of my songs become a true modern classic — something that outlives me and still gets played years down the line. That’s the kind of legacy I’m aiming for now.
