In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started playing guitar when I was 6. I have always loved music. I used to listen to music daily when I was a kid and that developed into me writing music in 2007. I remember always listening to Dwight Yoakam, Green Day & Dr. Hook when I was young. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dwight Yoakam, Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc. Green Day, 21st Century Breakdown (Deluxe Edition) Green Day, Dookie I've always loved Guitars, Cadillacs Etc., Etc., it's a classic & I've always loved Dwight's music. My Nana has the tape & I remember always listening to it in the car. GDs 21st Century Breakdown was the first concert I've been to, and I love Dookie. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Honky Tonk Sky” Honky Tonk Sky wasn't actually planned as a song. I was sitting in a local pub while at my cousins 21st birthday party and looked up at the roof. They had "disco" lights on the roof and I envisioned them later the next day. So I wrote Honky Tonk Sky. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My ex-principal of 5 years died in 2021 & was a good friend. He wrote the song 'Ka Waiata'. In 2022 I did an arrangement in memory of him & sent it to people who knew him well. Them saying it was "the best version" they've heard made it special to me Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to record some songs with Dwight Yoakam, Green Day, The Stray Cats and other bands.
