About Director P
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was as a kid growing up in a Congolese and Zambian household, where music was always playing — from Sebene and Rumba to Bongo Flava and old-school Dancehall. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Diamond Platnumz, A Boy From Tandale Fally Ipupa, Control Harmonize, Visit Bongo The album is a true East African classic. Diamond’s blend of Bongo Flava, Afro-pop and creates a powerful mix of culture and global appeal.Fally is a legend, this album is a masterpiece of Congolese rhythm and modern production. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “P***y Juice” “P***y Juice” is special because it marked a fearless moment in my career where I fully embraced my boldness, creativity, and identity as an Afro-fusion artist. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening for artists like Rayvanny and Mbosso, performing in front of passionate East African audiences who truly connect with my music. These experiences reminded me of why I started this journey and continue to inspire me to keep pushing forward. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Absolutely — there’s still so much on my bucket list as an artist. I want to perform on some of the world’s biggest stages like Afro Nation, and the BET Awards, representing not just myself but the cultures I come from.
