In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Going to see Beck and The Flaming Lips on tour together in 2004 with my brother, who I later started Big Bill with. Their humor and stage presence were so inspiring and effortless, it really blew us away. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Being Dead, EELS DEVO, Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo! The Monks, Black Monk Time Being Dead are our pals from Austin and they are truly inspiring, creative folks. DEVO and The Monks are formative artists for us-- they both stretched the boundaries of what a song could be and how a band could look and perform.
