In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember vividly getting a red ipod lent to me by a friend of mine early in high school. That ipod changed my life, Terence was into alternative music, experimental music and movie soundtracks and as a hip hop and r&b fan, it was mind altering. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Frank Ocean, channel ORANGE James Blake, Overgrown (Deluxe Edition) The Weeknd, House of Balloons (Original) These 3 albums changed what I thought a male vocalist could be and what they could do sonically. The melancholy, storytelling and cinema of it all really made me become a more daring artist myself. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Enough” At a very low place in my artistic journey, I wrote this song. For musicians working out of bedroom studios, who don't feel like their oddly mixed music is enough to make an impact, I laid it all bare and expressed my insecurities and freed myself. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting signed by some strangers from France and the UK, purely off the strength of my music. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Collaborating with my favourite living artists, these include Frank Ocean, James Blake, Tame Impala, Shekhinah and Sjava just to name a few.
