About Allahmon Solomon
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I can remember dancing to "I Feel Good" by James Brown on the radio in my parent's room till this day. The Godfather for real. Through James I found Michael Jackson, who was a huge fan of James Brown and another legend. Those two laid the base for me What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bankroll Fresh, Bankroll Fresh Prodigy, Hegelian Dialectic (The Book of Revelation) Slum Village, Fan-Tas-Tic, Vol. 2 These 3 hit every flavor I like in music. Rest in power to Bankroll! The synergy between him and D Rich is overlooked. Rest in power Prodigy! That album still gives me chills, great beats and writing. Slum village on Dilla beats, Rest in peace! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Ma’atter” Throughout my musical career and my actual life around 18 I studied lots of spiritual things and this conversation with my mentor was integral in my understanding of certain concepts and dogmas. Many truths, many jewels to find I encourage a listen. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? First time I ever recorded a song was at my mentor's house when I was 17 or 18. Freestyled a song and the rest is literally history. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? More abundance. More ears listening. More minds opening. More expansion. More growth. More money. More inspiration. More fun. More purpose. Movie scores, voice acting, television placements. Global reach. Less b******t in the way.
