About Amanda Danziger
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest music memory was with a Disney tape that my parents bought me. I used to love the song rendition of Happy Birthday, that I wore out the tape completely. I'd run around in circles around our living room, I thought that was dancing. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Ella and Louis Again Radiohead, OK Computer The Royal Royal, Rococo It's eclectic, I know. I love the Rococo album by The Royal Royal, it is everything I'd write in a worship album. Radiohead's OK Computer opened my mind to something different in 1997. Lastly, you can't go wrong with jazz - I love Louis and Ella! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “How Long” This song is based off of Psalm 13, verbatim. It's real, honest and raw written by David -- and that's why it spoke to me. I wrote this just fiddling on my guitar, and out came a melody. I believe this is a Psalm that is relevant to today's world. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Sharing a stage with all my best friends in 2019 for my release show of Head & Heart. We rented out a grand local theater, put a stage on a stage, had people sit on the stage with us... introduced the new songs but also had a worship night. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd like to sing with Steffany Gretzinger one day. She's a big inspiration.
