Alongside an introspective lyrical approach, FRANKIIE's noir-tinged, reverb-washed sound is indebted to surf rock, psychedelia, and '60s girl groups. Emerging from Vancouver in the mid-2010s, the band delivered their full-length debut, Forget Your Head, in 2019. They remained loyal to vintage music inspirations while grappling with the instability of current times on 2023's Between Dreams.
