In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is from a long drive in the backseat of my parents’ car. Carole King's Tapestry played throughout the journey. I think (due to lack of distraction) it was the first time I truly tuned into lyrics & I fell in love! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brandi Carlile, The Firewatcher’s Daughter Olivia Dean, The Art of Loving Sarah Jarosz, Polaroid Lovers These are my top 3 currently! Brandi's album has been in my top ones for some time and I always come back to it. All 3 albums possess truthful storytelling, emotional courage & a woman’s voice that doesn’t shy away from the truth! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Hard Way” The Hard Way is one of my favourite creations. I wrote it during a time of grief and immense change in my life. I wrote, and re-wrote and edited and fine-tuned it for over a year until I was happy! And it's the first song I produced also :) What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening stadium shows for Sir Tom Jones across the UK! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? At the moment, honestly, no. I'm really content with where I am; writing the music I want to write, working with people I admire and love and enjoying the creative process.
