Svoy

Svoy is the solo project of Mikhail Tarasov, a Russian-born singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist whose work ranges from adventurous electro-pop songs to electronic symphonies. Debuting with 2005's Eclectric, a collection of heartfelt pop songs with rhythms nodding to drum'n'bass and IDM, he reached the Japanese charts with 2009's Automatons. He has continued releasing electronic pop albums as well as a series of experimental symphonies, starting with 2015's Symphony No. 1: What Happened When I Was Asleep. Additionally, he has worked with artists such as Meshell Ndegeocello, Claudia Acuña, Demir Demirkan, and Kenny Garrett (2024's Who Killed AI?).
