About Jonathan Clay
Singer/songwriter Jonathan Clay is known for his heartfelt, melodic songs, both as a soloist and as a member of harmony-rich indie folk outfit Jamestown Revival. After releasing his solo debut, 2006's Whole New Me, he became popular with TV music supervisors, and Clay songs including "After All" and "Gypsy Woman" could be heard on series like The Hills and Sons of Anarchy. He later formed Jamestown Revival with his childhood friend and fellow solo artist Zach Chance, and several of their tunes appeared in the 2012 comedy movie LOL; the duo's debut LP, Utah, arrived in 2014. Jamestown Revival released two more studio albums and some EPs before writing the music and lyrics for the Broadway musical The Outsiders, an adaptation of the popular S.E. Hinton novel and 1983 film. The show went on to win the 2024 Tony Award for Best Musical.
