Wanna One

Formed through the second season of the South Korean TV competition series Produce 101, the group Wanna One temporarily brought together 11 men from across the K-pop world. • Though they were only together for a short while, Wanna One had a major impact on the K-pop scene. They scored numerous hits, beginning with their aptly titled 2017 debut single, “Energetic.” • Known for their boisterous dance tracks as much as their stirring R&B ballads, Wanna One released three EPs—2017’s 1×1=1 (To Be One), 2018’s 0+1=1 (I Promise You), and 2018’s 1÷x=1 (Undivided)—and one LP, 2018’s 1¹¹=1 (Power of Destiny). • Following Wanna One’s final concerts in 2019, the 11 men continued their careers as solo artists, actors, and members of other boy bands.
