In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. From childhood, I remember experiencing utter melancholy and same time beauty while listening to one quite cheesy children's song (Usvametsän Neito, from Rölli). I don't know why but it struck a "core chord" in me as a kid. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bruce Brubaker, Max Cooper, Glassforms Nine Inch Nails, The Fragile Radiohead, In Rainbows Fourth would be Project Vainiolla's album Nocturnal but you don't seem to have it on Apple Music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Halla” This tune is special because it connects me to the sense of cold and frost. It also carries a certain feeling of inevitability, which I like very much. Halla was actually made for and released on Piano Day vol 3 compilation by LEITER. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Touring is great. I enjoy travelling, performing and connecting with people. But I will never forget when a colleague sent a video of a piano student of hers performing my composition in a music school concert. It was touching on so many levels. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I don't have a bucket list as an artist, I just do what I feel needs to be done.
