In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up listening to my mother sing her own songs. Her band would practice in this little stand-alone trailer we had in the backyard. It wasn't long before I asked for a guitar for my birthday, and started singing and writing my own songs. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Tell us why you chose this song. “Hold On” It's easier for me to write a sad song than for me to write a positive love song - but I want to spread positivity with my music. That's why I love Hold On - it always brings joy to people when I play it. I especially love playing it for couples. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I headlined The Evening Muse in Charlotte, NC when I released my single "Caught in the Current", and sold out the venue. The Evening Muse was the first place I ever performed - at their open mic, when I was around 12 or 13. It was unbelievable. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to release a great duet - I've still never cut a duet with anyone, and some of my favorite songs in history are guy/girl duets.
