In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is playing the saxophone in junior high school under the guidance of Mr. Butler. The sound was raw and unpolished, but his patience and passion sparked something in me that made me want to keep creating music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Marley & The Wailers, Legend – The Best Of Bob Marley & The Wailers Michael Jackson, Thriller N.W.A, The Best of N.W.A - The Strength of Street Knowledge My top 3: Thriller by Michael Jackson, a perfect blend of music and visuals. N.W.A.’s Straight Outta Compton mirrored the struggles I knew firsthand. And Bob Marley’s Greatest Hits, timeless songs that connect me to Kingston, Jamaica. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Get Poppin'” One song I love is “Get Poppin” with me and Incidents. I laid down the hook after years away from the mic, and it reignited my passion for recording. That track was the spark that pushed me to step forward as an artist in my own right. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable moments was producing, recording, and mastering the 21-track album Occurrences & Happenings with Incidents. All the trial and error, long sessions, and teamwork made finishing that project an amazing achievement. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes—there’s still more on my bucket list. I’ll keep producing music and fusing multiple genres to expand my creativity. I plan to release both instrumentals and songs as an artist, so definitely be on the lookout.
