In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When i was little my dad came home with an old battered acoustic guitar for me. He showed me how to play a few chords, and from then I was infatuated and taught myself all of my favourite songs (mostly the classics that he had also introduced me to) Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Circles” This was the first song I released after recovering from a brain tumour in 2018. It received a lot of support, even taking a spot on the national BBC Introducing Hot List, and reaffirmed that making music was what I want to do with my life. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As long as I'm making music in the way that I want to, and am able to share it with people who enjoy it, that gives me contentment. That said... jamming with Nile Rogers and/or becoming a member of Vulfpeck would be alright, I guess.
