In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first musical memory is listening to Julian Cope's Sunspots through some floorboards. My family is music obsessed; mum loves prog, dad loves Van Morrison, my brother loves U2 and my sister loves Prince. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Julian Cope, Peggy Suicide (Deluxe Edition) Manic Street Preachers, The Holy Bible 20 (Remastered) Peter Gabriel, Peter Gabriel 3: Melt (Remastered) The three pillars of my musical influence, the albums I always return to. Tell us why you chose this song. “Control” When I wrote Control, I'd finally got clean and the help I needed. I was starting to a clearer future. The song is me and my most strong and committed. Then add in Jim Duncan's relentless guitar part and the song makes my heart burst. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Writing songs with Ray Davies from The Kinks. An experience of a lifetime. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to Perform with Gary Numan. I've seen him many times. Massive fan.
