In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember going to Central Park — hearing the congas and percussion. The rumba-It was the sound of New York. I remember the first time I walked up the ramp ath the Paradise Garage and the warm sound of the bass wrapped around me.
