In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory is having a tape recorder & microphone as a kid. I used to record the television and go up to my room and listen to the playback on my Sony boombox. It got me hooked on recording, and opened the door to music creation. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of the Moon Remastered Skrillex, Don’t Get Too Close The Smashing Pumpkins, Siamese Dream Choosing only 3 albums seems difficult, because there are so many that I like. These three represent some I grew up with, production techniques, time periods, and creativity that inspires me still today. Tell us why you chose this song. “Let You Go” Let You Go, represented a new direction, using vocal samples, and trying different rhythms. I was largely a techno producer in a different life. I gave myself permission to experiment in blending EDM and songwriting. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Having a family is my favorite memory. There will never be any other achievement that overshadows that. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Creating a tour with visuals that creates meaning for peoples lives. We need more positive influences on the culture.
