Alexander Soares

English pianist Alexander Soares specializes in contemporary French and British works. He gained notice for his participation in the BBC Symphony Orchestra/BBC Radio 3 Boulez at 90 celebrations in 2015 and has gone on to earn important honors, including the designation of a BBC Rising Star in 2021. Soares is also an important educator who joined the faculty at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in 2024. That year, he released the album Tippett, Beethoven, Knussen on the Rubicon Classics label.
