尽管制作过程一波三折，摇滚乐队 The Monotones In The Basement 最终还是凭借本张专辑，斩获了韩国大众音乐奖。乐团的灵魂人物是 90 年代韩国最早一批独立摇滚乐手，他以娴熟的吉他技巧搭配主唱充满现代感的声线，将 50 年代的美国 Rockabilly 等风格元素，以更浪漫和复杂的手法呈现。而扭曲 Bass 和密集节奏营造出的紧张气氛与反叛力量则恰到好处，凸显了乐队掌控能力。
