PANHEAD!!!!

With every Skillet album I find myself more and more a fan. I can't wait for the full album release - until then, I'll have his on repeat.

loving the evolved sound

I'm a very big fan of Skillet. they've saved my life and helped me on so many different occasions. I personally LOVE Skillet's theme of fighting for your life and for what you believe. That's what you're doing in this world, you're constantly battling something. when "Feel Invincible" came out, I was so happy. the lyrics, though simple, were (and ARE) amazing and provide a message.
Yes, people may be disappointed with the new sounds of electronics in Skillet's music. but I've listened to almost everything by Skillet, and they've done this stuff before. Lots of their early stuff had some techno-y sounds and as time went on, they used less. They've gone back to using some, but if you actually really listen to the song, you can still hear the heavy guitar and drum that we all know and love.
Bands are always changing their sound. it's not that uncommon. They're choosing to express themselves in a new and different way. I am SO pumped to hear this new album.
this was not written by a fan that thinks that all things Skillet are perfect. yes, I'm a very avid fan, but I have listened to this new material a lot and have taken my time to really form my opinion on it. I listen to all sorts of music, ranging from metal core to k-pop. I love this new change for Skillet. Yes, some of you hate the new sound, but John, Korey, Jen, and Seth are not trying to please just you. Skillet has MILLIONS of fans, so of course some are gonna get let down. But they're doing what they think is a good sound for the band, and so we should all respect that.
