The Step Brothers mixtape series has found Southern rappers Don Trip and Starlito at their most comfortable, and this outing is no different. The two are at their best trading bursts of verse, like over the soulful sample on “Yeah 5X,” and they wisely bow to each other’s strengths, Starlito looking inward on the sleepy and gentle “Remember” and Don Trip rising to the level of Starlito’s boasts on the piano- and guitar-driven “Just Want It All.”
