It’s a good time to be a rapper raised on Foxwood Drive in Memphis. There’s Fox BD, whose 2026 Finessin Distribution Deals catapulted him to a new level of success, and then there’s his twin brother, YTB Fatt, who followed up 2025’s Da Foxprint with a new era, VERA VOLPE. Translation? Italian for “real fox.” On 2026’s VERA VOLPE: THE PRELUDE, Fatt recruits rap mainstays like Lil Baby and Loe Shimmy, and of course invites his brother to roll through on the dizzying EP closer, “I GOTCHA BITCH.” Despite this being the era of the Fox Bros., though, tensions still run high for the MC who had to move off the streets to turn all his attention to music. On the Lil Baby-assisted “HERE AND THERE,” Fatt unfurls a rapid-fire delivery as he explains the wear and tear that comes with success in the rap game. The money is good, but the target on his back has grown, too. “I can’t duck off and do shit by myself, my smackers don’t wanna leave me,” he explains.
