Actor, producer and singer-songwriter Danish Sood’s debut album is an encapsulating journey into innocence and childlike wonder. Across seven tracks and almost 14 minutes, everyone’s a baby invokes memories of youth while simultaneously offering a genre-defying treat. Crisp beats enliven “Backaround” halfway through, the artist’s mum talks about his tummy ache on “Ruby”, subdued vocals create the dreamy hook in “Pretty Little Lies” and there’s a breezy hip-pop vibe that flows melodically through “Where You Going Tonight?”. This album is an eclectic, meaningful and appealing debut.
