On their first LP in 11 years, Midival Punditz—the composer-producer pair of Gaurav Raina and Tapan Raj—return with all the elements that define their pioneering Indian electronic sound. Working with a stellar selection of singers such as Malini Awasthi, Shubha Mudgal, Papon and Hansika Parikh, they effortlessly incorporate ghazal as well as Indian folk and classical forms into sublime dance tunes, while occasionally venturing into edgy, experimental territory on instrumental tracks.
