"Rhythm is a lot of fun, and without rhythm you cannot dance,” announce Spark. With that, the band’s five musicians (two winds, two strings, and one piano) take to the floor, dancing down the centuries and across numerous styles, including a Mozart dance suite and Ravel’s Rigaudon from “Le Tombeau de Couperin,” plus ABBA (“Dancing Queen”), Cole Porter (“Begin the Beguine”), and Michael Nyman ("In Re Don Giovanni"). They bring it all brilliantly and infectiously to life, mixing everything up and generating some real electricity.
