On the good-rocking How Will the Wolf Survive?, East L.A.’s Los Lobos solidify Chicano rock, a style steeped in soulful Mexican lore and rollicking Americana. If there’s doubt as to whether Los Tigres del Norte’s norteño ways or Elvis’ rockabilly roots played a role in this honky-tonk outing, “Don’t Worry Baby” quickly confirms both with its bluesy Tex-Mex swagger; so do the polka jams of “Corrido #1” and “Serenata Norteña,” which come equipped with lively tambora rhythms and exciting accordion riffage.
