Gotcha! is a sultry, tropical gumbo served sizzling, thanks in no small part to the striking vibrato of lead belter Huey Dunbar, whose Jamaican and Puerto Rican heritages duke it out across these songs. A wide variety of Latin American folk grooves similarly spar with the aggressive hip-hop swagger of DLG's New York—particularly on dancehall romp "Acuyuye" and the title cut. The bachata-leaning "Eres Mi Vida" offers calmer fare, but the vocals are all the more dramatic for it.
