Hate To Go - Take Out Or Delivery

Hate To Go - Take Out Or Delivery

On what he’s touting as the band’s final album, Ministry mastermind Al Jourgensen offers one last searing takedown of the American sociopolitical landscape. Hate to Go - Take Out or Delivery opens with “Crickets” and “Voices of Hate,” a pair of screaming industrial bangers with melodic post-punk choruses. “Delete” is a sample-heavy middle finger to social media, while the old-school thrash of “Singularity” features a bot-like cameo from Leni “Badpenny” Von Eckardt. On “We’re Still Here,” Jourgensen joins forces with his old friend and former Ministry bassist Paul Barker for a final collaboration that celebrates their musical perseverance. Throughout the record, Ministry incorporates AI-generated voice snippets in an ironic critique of our looming tech tipping point.
