On July 13, 2002, Norman Cook threw a free party on Brighton beach. Over a quarter of a million people attended the legendary Big Beach Boutique event, consummating his status as one of British dance music’s most popular and important figures. Just over 20 years on from that iconic event, Cook returned to his hometown beach for an anniversary victory lap that underlined the quality of his hit-stuffed catalog and that extraordinary skill to thrill enormous crowds with euphoric, arms-aloft drops. You can experience his dazzling set here.
