Los Campeones del Pueblo "The Big Leagues"

Los Campeones del Pueblo "The Big Leagues"

Six years after their last album, Puerto Rican duo Wisin & Yandel return with Los Campeones del Pueblo “The Big Leagues”. The 10th studio album from the “Rakata” singers finds them knee-deep in the kind of classic, big-synth anthems that took them to the forefront of reggaetón’s first explosion. On “Dame Algo,” featuring Bad Bunny, the opening lines (“Hace tiempo que no salgo/Hoy quiero un perreo”) perfectly describe the duo’s enthusiasm on their return. The album also explores everything from Latin trap (“Mi Intención” featuring Miky Woodz) to their softer side (“Aullando” featuring Romeo Santos). And of course, there’s no shortage of heavy-hitting dembow riddims and anthemic vocals. With additional guest spots from the likes of Farruko, Ozuna, and Zion & Lennox, it's a fully formed perreo function from beginning to end.
