The same could be said for Sevendust themselves: Nearly a quarter century into their career, the Atlanta-based alt-metal squad has written some of their most memorable material, as evidenced by the glossy, metallic rumble of “Medicated” and the string-laden slow burn of “Not Original,” which highlights Witherspoon’s soulful vocals.
