A definite step up

Superior record to previous releases, although those that came before demonstrated the band's enormous potential. Under the Flood has always had the lyricism that allows the listener to identify, the key ingrediant in any music. However, the musicianship demonstrated, smooth transitioning vocals, and orchestration utilized in this album lends a more polished feel to the finished product and pairs well with their usual dose of raw reality. The two make for a new-found balance that should take this band to the next level. The production talents of Brian Craddock are evident and the collaboration seems to be the magic recipe for Under the Flood.

Amazing album!

The fact that this band has such clean uninterrupted vocals mixed with such clean instrumentation blows my mind. No band i've listened to had been so applicable to me. I can't dote enough on the creativeness and insanity (in a good way) of this album. I could listen to it over and over. My hat is off to UTF. Keep rocking hard!

Something Special

This ENTIRE album is chock full of powerful lyrics and meanings. Under The Flood has made something truely special here. Never have I been as impressed with each and every song in a single album since Evanescence's Fallen. MUST BUY!
