Apple Music Live

On September 28, 2026, Elton John began to play. It was opening night at Apple Music Hall in London, Apple Music’s first-ever live venue—and the legendary singer-songwriter plus the crowd of only 600 people watching him knew just what a special moment this was. “London has needed a venue like this for a long, long time,” said John. “I’m very honored that Apple asked me to come and open it.” Playing solo at his piano, John kicked things off with “Your Song,” then treated his audience to hits including “Bennie and the Jets,” “I Guess That’s Why They Call It the Blues,” and “Tiny Dancer” before closing out with “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me,” which was every bit as captivating as you’d expect.
