Shimza was pretty busy over summer 2026—and he’s got the selects to prove it. “The last few months have been crazy—so many parties, so many different countries, and, most importantly, so many shared smiles on the dance floor,” he tells Apple Music. “This mix brings together some of the tracks I’ve discovered along the way.” The South African DJ and producer can always be relied upon to unearth the freshest Afrobeats sounds around for his Karma Karma Radio series, and this October 2026 edition is no exception. “One of the biggest anthems of my summer has to be MoBlack’s ‘Mandjou.’ It didn’t matter where I played this one—the reaction was always the same,” says Shimza. “Closing the mix is ‘You Make Me Fall in Love’ by Ajna. So many people have told me they’re really digging this one, and I can see why. It’s a beautiful track and the perfect way to finish as I reflect on one of the best summers ever.”
