Sweet Sins - EP

Dxtiny’s self-titled EP makes for a compelling case study as to what companionship looks like for the Gen Z crowd in 2026: undefined, restrained, and loosely transactional. Project opener “Temptation” gets straight to the heart of the matter: “If I show you off, would you show me your ukwu?” the singer asks, making it clear that though he can offer tenderness, it comes at a cost. The EP follows a flurry of singles from the rising Nigerian artist, who, since receiving an education of sorts from a “Babcock” student, is pursuing music with everything he has. The production here, handled by 255, Puffybeatz, Shine, Tension, Black Culture, and Choke Boi, is lush throughout, and with each of the project’s five tracks, Dxtiny proves that whatever he might lack in desire for deep emotional connection, he has in an understanding of ear-catching Afropop songs (a formula mastered by fellow Babcock University alum and Afropop maven Davido).
