On this collection of newly recorded tracks, German metal legends Accept reimagine big hits and deep cuts from their half-century reign. Each song on Teutonic Titans features a different all-star lineup led by Accept’s founding guitarist Wolf Hoffmann. Pantera vocalist Phil Anselmo, Motörhead/Scorpions drummer Mikkey Dee, and Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett kick things off with a rousing rendition of the 1982 speed-metal staple “Fast as a Shark.” Appropriately, Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford spearheads the MTV sing-along “Balls to the Wall”—a song that could easily be mistaken for a Priest tune—with Scorpions’ Matthias Jabs joining Hoffmann on guitar. Left-field combos include Ghost mastermind Tobias Forge alongside Korn drummer Ray Luzier on the early cut “Save Us” and The Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan teamed up with former Megadeth bassist Dave Ellefson on a rendition of 1983’s “Love Child.”
