Recorded during the final Seoul stop on K-pop group BOYNEXTDOOR’s debut tour in July 2025, “Knock on Vol. 1” Final Live is a peek into the performative panache of the fifth-generation youngsters. Including a majority of the songs from the tour’s set list, the album gives listeners a sense of members Sungho, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak’s performance abilities two years into their idol careers. The 16-track album is composed of live versions of songs from the sextet’s first four EPs—which include Why.., How?, 19.99, and No Genre—and are characterized by personality-driven, retro-leaning pop. BOYNEXTDOOR hits featured on the album include “Nice Guy,” “123-78,” “IF I SAY, I LOVE YOU,” and “Earth, Wind & Fire.” The album’s live, rock-infused performance of debut track “But Sometimes” gets some of the most audible cheers as BOYNEXTDOOR fans, known as OneDoor, echo back the group’s self-composed lyrics.
