“I’ve been remixing records under the ‘6am’ alias for a while now and finding it so fun showcasing a slightly different side of KC Lights,” the Scottish DJ/producer, aka Kerr Slaven, tells Apple Music. Here, he rounds up those remixes—softer, more spacious versions of his own and others’ tracks. Expect emotive takes of KC Lights songs, including 2020’s huge “Girl,” “Cold Light” with Leo Stannard, and the Marlo Rex-featuring “Silver Lining,” plus remixes delivered for names including Alicia Keys, MK, Sigma and Carla Marie, and Elderbrook. “This is a special mix for me as it’s packed full of all of my favorite 6am remixes,” says Slaven. “There are loads of uplifting moments in this mix, and I’m so excited to get it out there.”
