Felix Cartal’s 2025 album i, sabotage took listeners on an epic dusk-to-dawn journey that fused heart-pumping house beats and heady self-analytical songwriting into an experience best described (in the words of one album highlight) as “Dancing in a Dream.” And he’s keeping that dream alive with i (still), sabotage, which supplements the original tracklist with three bonus cuts that plug perfectly into the album’s 4/4 mainframe, including the edgy dance-pop banger “cuz of you” (a 2024 single collaboration with Californiana indie singer Cyn) and the euphoric piano-house closer “dive /stay/” (featuring New York vocalist emma løv). But Cartal throws us a curveball with a cover of Fastball’s “The Way,” where B.C. twin-sister act Fionn helps him transform the ’90s alt-rock standard into a synth-buzzed club workout.
