Herencia de Patrones has long incorporated a storytelling flair into their contemporary corridos regimen, so it makes sense that they’d end up connecting with the movie business at some stage. While inspired by Clika, a 2026 film co-produced by their record label Rancho Humilde, El Mundo Es Tuyo takes its title from another cinematic work, 1983’s Scarface. Even beyond naming one of the songs “Tony Montaña,” that boss-level mentality carries through several of these tracks. From the scene setting opening pair “Risk Takers” and “Mr. HellaPlayz” through to the defiant justifications of the final “Prendo,” the narrative stays compelling and consistent. The 420-friendly confidence of “Soy Del 559” harkens back to fan favorites from the group, as do the rousing accounts of “LBZ Boyz” and “91.” More tender moments like “Linda Mujer” as well as the overtly desire-driven “Quiero” and “Versos del Corazón” break up these tough-talking sections and increase the relatability.
