THY WILL BE DONE

THY WILL BE DONE

On the 12th day of Christmas, the $uicideboy$ gave to thee THY WILL BE DONE, an album of devotionals both spiritual and cultural. Released on Christmas Day in 2025, the album begins with a prayer of sorts, “Leviticus,” and it’s the chanted bridge of “As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death/I shall fear no man, I shall fear no evil” that gives the project its central philosophy. On the pop-rap-leaning “MSY,” the duo take cues from early Kid Cudi and sift through the emotions of artistic isolation. “Climbed up seven tiers, and the higher I got, the more I really started to fear/That if I fell off, it would be quite the fall/And it’s lonely at the top, so who the fuck would I call?” Ruby Da Cherry raps, before offering up a “solo dolo” in honor of Cudder himself. Throughout, Ruby and Scrim are paying tribute to all of their idols.
