Hudson Westbrook makes the most of his newfound notoriety on his second EP, which comes on the heels of his 2025 debut album, Texas Forever. The Lubbock, Texas native co-wrote all five of the tracks on Exclusive, which includes the already released fan-favorite cut “Pretty Privilege.” Westbrook dips into soulful pop on the title track, with bluesy electric guitar that recalls Continuum-era John Mayer, while “LMWYL” is rugged and rootsy thanks to fiddle and mandolin from celebrated multi-instrumentalist Jenee Fleenor. “Lovin’ on Me” lets Westbrook lean into breezy harmonies and a laid-back melody, and “If He Wanted To” connects Westbrook to genre heavyweights like Thomas Rhett with its retro production and tender lyrics.
