Following several Tamil pop hits in the early 2020s—including smash “Aasa Kooda” in 2024—Sai Abhyankkar moved into the film soundtrack space with ease in 2025. A deft composer, singer and producer, the star crafts a bevy of spirited, fun and dramatic tunes for Tamil romantic comedy Dude—just his second major movie project. The stirring rhythmic pop of “Oorum Blood”, the bouncy folk beats of “Singari” and the emotive, classical-driven “Nallaru Po” kick off the collection with aplomb. Another highlight is the artist’s duet with Canadian singer Jonita Gandhi on the tear-jerking “Kannukulla”.
